BeoSound 1 sets new standards for portable music systems. Instead of starting with the sources (CD and radio), the design team began with the sound quality. The result is a movable loudspeaker with an exceptionally dynamic sound - powerful enough to fill a room.

The BeoSound 1 concept is about simplicity and its operation underlines this - just plug it in and BeoSound 1 is ready. All the functions are arranged on a single line and in an order that's easy to understand and simple to use.

World's first 1750 cm2 / 271.25 in2 aerial antenna
All features and functions are operated simply and effectively via a row of buttons placed behind the curved wall at the top or using a Beo 4 remote control. The CD holder and FM aerial rise up instantly at the press of a button. To increase the radio signal further, the surface of the aluminium front serves as an additional aerial.

There's also a built-in timer, which makes BeoSound 1 an exclusive and effective alarm clock. You can also connect an external music player, such as BeoSound 2 or an iPod, directly to BeoSound 1.

The complete sound performance is made possible by a unique speaker construction that also includes an integrated central woofer, capable of handling sound frequencies of less than 250 Hz. As a result, BeoSound 1 produces a full spectrum of sound from the highest notes to the deepest bass.



BeoSound 1 is available in a choice of removable coloured anodised covers for when you change rooms, or in case you change your mind.
